In my previous posting, I mentioned that Ace Combat 5 was not a simulation and I somewhat take that back. While it is not pure simulation it does throw in many nice attributes along with the great arcade action. Now I bought the Limited Edition Ace Combat 5 Bundle from ebgames.com for $130 and I love it. It makes the game even more satisifying. While the pricetag is a little steep, $80 bucks for the joystick, if you have both a PC and a PS2 you can buy an adapter to hook up to your PC as well. It is definitely one of the better games I have played in a while especially with the flight joystick. While the game is still enjoyable with the PS2 DualShock Controller, if you have the cash and you love flying games or the Ace Combat series, definitely pick up the bundle.
