Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox will join forces to make the movie based on Microsoft's blockbuster sci-fi franchise that between both installments on the XBOX, have sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Yes, it is Halo. Halo the movie should hit theatres sometime in 2007!!

Yup, the USofA is where it's at. Even though I didn't care that much for Doom, Halo is going to be phenominal especially with Peter Jackson working on the film. Games to movies and movies to games, it don't get no better than that!! Look for it in early 2007 along with Halo 3 for the XBOX 360!!

Ah yes, I return once again after a long while of being gone. I do hope that with Halo's gigantic fan base, the creators behind this movie idea take their time and polish it well instead of putting it out there and hoping Halo fans will like just because it's there. I mean don't get me wrong or anything, (though I thought it was incredible) many people say the Resident Evil movies were not made very well. But maybe due to it's immense status, Halo will be a success.
On a related note, there is going to be a Silent Hill movie coming soon hopefully (I've seen screenshots, and it appears the creatures are staying  ), and this moderator is definitely gonna be first in line here for it.

I have seen that they are turning Silent Hill into a movie as well. I enjoyed the Silent Hill series on PS2. Personally for me the first Resident Evil movie was good but I did not care for the second one. I love the Doom series but I hated the Doom movie. Halo is going to be off the hook because Peter Jackson is on the movie, yes the same Peter Jackson that created Lord of the Rings and the new King Kong. Look for Halo in 2007 along with Halo 3 for the XBOX 360.
