Sega, Sega, Sega. I have always thought you did us gamers right. Starting with the genesis, then the game gear, then the sega cd, then the Sega Saturn and then to end things with the Dreamcast. I loved the dreamcast. I was at Electronic Boutique right when they opened. You know we all saw the previews of games like Hydro Thunder, NFL 2K and were just amazed. Before the dreamcast you were most likely playing the PS1 and the N64. These graphics were ground breaking and this was the first 128bit unit to get into our grubby little hands. I think I had saved up enough money to buy the system and every game that came out on launch day. It was needless to say off the hook. I played NFL2K until I finally had to get some sleep. Sega, you treated us right for a good year or two but then the PS2 came out and that must have done you in. Not long after that you stopped making the Dreamcast and systems all together, to be a 3rd party developer to the big boys that were coming out namely PS2 and XBOX. The dreamcast will always be with me though and I know many other people out there had to keep it just for nastalgic purposes. For those dreamcast fans out there, holler back at me and tell me your favorite DreamCast games. _________________ Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game |
