The Illinois law that will ban the sale of violent games to minors has passed another milestone earlier this week. The Illinois House has given the law a go, which means both the House and the Senate have passed the law. It now moves on to be signed by the Governor of Illinois. This from an article I read: "... supporters insisted the government has a duty to help parents shield children from violence and sexuality. Don't let them become the monsters that we see in these violent games, Democratic Rep. Monique Davis said."

Are you kidding me people. Are these Republicans serious??? But watching Porn, Rated R movies and the news isn't a priority to these people. Everybody seems to be basing all violence on videogames now and that is just wrong. Turn on the TV, all you see is murder and death. Turn on the radio and you will probably hear about the same thing. Ever watch a Rated-R movie on TV, I have and those do as much to the mind if not more that videogames. I just don't get why videogames are so bad but movies and the news are not?? Answer me that Mr. Republican!!!
