This is for all you PSP owning, baseball fans out there. You now have two choices of America's Favorite Pastime. EA Sports MVP Baseball has hit the PSP but it appears it has fallen short of MLB Baseball from 989 Sports. MLB received an 8.0 out of 10 from ign.com and MVP Baseball has received a 7.5 out of 10. The presentation is top notch as usual from an EA Sports game but the graphics and sound are nowhere near to the level of detail that MLB sports. There are just way too many glitches in MVP Baseball for them to go unnoticed. EA is so capable of this, I am not sure what happened especially since they kept pushing MVP back. All that extra time I figures they were using to polish up the game but that they did not do. While MVP has pretty good gameplay, it still doesn't compare to MLB. MLB has better animation, better gameplay, much better announcing. What else do you want. Season mode is very compelling in MVP Baseball though, so that is one good thing. EA, just fix these issues and work on the graphics and MVP Baseball 2006 will be a winner. For now people, go with MLB, plus it's $10 bucks cheaper!!
