Well, it looks like Konami did not give the Sony PSP a winner in Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory, which is very unfortunate because in previews over the past few months, Regnoku was looking very promising. Gamespot.com reviewed Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory for the Sony PSP and gave the game a mediocre 5.2 which is horrible. Everything about this game sounded great in the preview. You control a rogue battle android named A.D.A.M who fights other androids, increasing in power as you go along in the game and you then attach the weapons of the enemy to your robotic chassis. How great does that sound? Great if Konami delivered but unfortunately. Everything about this game is mediocre. The presentation, graphics, sound and value. The bad part about the weapons is you actually have to go back to the beginning of the level to attach new weapons which means you can't do it on the fly which is backtracking and that is a waste. On the Sony PSP, if you are looking for a hack and slash game, stick with Untold Legends, it will do the Sony PSP more justice!!
