Well, just like the first Dead to Rights, Namco hasn't given us very much to get excited about. Ign.com recently reviewed Dead to Rights II and gave it a 6.8 out of 10 which is mediocre. The game is just so-so which means do not rush off the couch to buy this one. If you played the first Dead to Rights starring Jack Slater and you liked it, well you will probably like this one as well. With all the other great games out at the moment, dropping a $50 spot on Dead to Rights II, is probably not the best move. There are some cool explosions in the game but nothing to wet yourself over. The story is pure bare bones with average cutscenes. The game is this: you enter a room, kill everything in sight, then head on over to the next room and do it all over again. The game is also pretty short but does have some higher difficulty levels but wanting to play through the game a second time, probably will not happen. Do yourself a favor and pick up something else with your hard earned money!
