Yes, Silent Hunter III was very much worth the wait. The one player campaign is awesome and this game is a simulation fans dream. Ign.com reviewed the game and gave it an 8.8 out of 10. Everything about the game is awesome. It is the best looking submarine sim to date and the interiors and environments of the game look outstanding. The presentation truly makes you feel like you are on board of a submarine. There are a great amount of options to keep you playing for a while and the best part of the game is the spooky sounds in the hull, especially if you have surround sound on your PC. To get the best looking graphics on the game, I hope you are running at least a 128 MB video card. I am using the NVidia 6800 Ultra video card and it is top notch!!
