Ok I have been keeping track on the development of Resident Evil 4(exclusively on the GameCube) since day 1 when Capcom dropped the news. I have played every Resident Evil to date and it has been a great series though lately it seems it has become a bit tiresome. Although the graphics in the new Resident Evil 4 will be purely 3D and pretty much the best graphics to date for the Gamecube, from what I am understanding is that the control scheme has not been changed much. It is still the old and tired D Pad movement which is a bit outdated for today's games. There is no reason Capcom could not have made the switch over to analog considering this game has been in development for years now and it keeps getting pushed back. At least Capcom has finalized the date for January, that is a good sign. If anybody has heard different on the control scheme, I would love to hear it.

I agree with you 100% Rumple by the way what kind of name is that? Anyway, I to have played ever Resident Evil to date and I cannot understand why for Resident Evil 4 they again had to use the sloppy old DPad. Us fans have been screaming for years to please switch over to analog like everyone else. I mean obviously RE4 will still be an awsome game but how much better it could have been.
