Ok, the Gamecube has been out what almost 3 year and they only have what 1 game online and that is Phantasy Star Online. The Nintendo leaders say that online is not what the people. Are you kidding me?? How many people on XBOX Live now like what 1.5 million people. How many people each day play Socom II on the PS2? Hundreds of thousands of people. How can Nintendo have the moxy to say online is not what the people want. I have the Gamecube because they do put out the best 1st Party games like Mario, Zelda and Metroid but coming up to the next generation those games just aren't going to get the job done withougt Nintendo going online. They need to do it right now with the Gamecube. There are some sweet games coming out as we near the end of the year and they could use a touch of online. I mean honestly who wouldn't want to play Mario Kart:Double Dash online?? Or how about the new multiplayer mode in Metroid 2. All that I am saying is that Gamecube needs to start putting out some broadband only games in the next year and a half before the next system hits. _________________ Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game |

Actually I don't think the lack of online gaming is the only thing Nintendo has lost touch with. The whole premise of the Gamecube shows that Nintendo has lost touch with the gamers. The small disks, the limited titles, and lack of online gaming shows that Nintendo really doesn't know how to catch up to PS2 and XBox.
Yeah the small package is nice, but I want to be able to play cd's and DVD's too. Come on, multimedia is the way to go!
The only thing that Nintendo did get right with the Gamecube is the Wavebird. I haven't tried the wireless setups for the PS2 or XBox but the Wavebird is a great concept, and works great to boot.
However, Nintendo is really going to have to come up with something impressive to get me to buy from them again. _________________ Only the best will do! |
