I loved the original The Getaway for the PS2 even though it didn't get a good review from anybody. Looks like it may be more of the same from The Getaway: Black Monday. The game received a 6.5 out of 10 from ign.com and from EGM the magazine it received a 4.5, 7, 6.5 which equals mediocrity. While the game appears to have great graphics and sound, an amazing presentation, The Getaway is up to it's same old tricks adding bad gameplay. Like I said above, I loved the first The Getaway. From what I have been reading about the game, you just get so irritated at the game and you just end up shutting it off. I think I am still going to give Black Monday a try though. I am a big audio/visual guy so I will definitely check the game out!
