For the week ending in December 26th, the Nintendo DS continued success during the holiday season in Japan, while the XBOX continues to do poorly. Here are the numbers below:
Nintendo DS: 396,674 (Annual: 1,286,074), Game Boy Advance SP: 190,268 (Annual: 2,532,107), PS2: 188,134 (Annual: 2,799,009), GameCube: 108,311 (Annual: 880,836), PlayStation Portable: 107,217 (Annual: 352,295), Game Boy Advance: 3,877 (Annual: 196,478), Xbox: 704 (Annual: 36,976)
As you can see, the Nintendo DS has taken over Japan. XBOX pretty much has no chance in Asia. Nintendo and Sony rule the roost.
