Every month ign.com gives the Game of the Month Award for all systems which include XBOX, PS2, GameCube, PC, GBA. The month of December was not to hot of a month when talking about big blockbuster hits but there were a few beauties to come out. The PS2 Game of the Month for December:

Why Growlanser Generations was Game of the Month:
Of all the Japanese strategy/RPGs that came out in 2004, Growlanser Generations stands out.The tactical planning that's needed during combat and you have to admire the differences between Growlanser II and Growlanser III. The cheesy voice acting, top-notch character art, and beautiful soundtrack make it a true winner
