The device is coming out in Japan in February 2005 that will play both MP3/MPEG 4 on your GBA SP. This will add limited multimedia capability. The unit is called the Play-chan and is compatible with SD cards. It has also been said that this unit will be compatible with the new Nintendo DS. When viewing movies, the battery life on your GBA will take a serious hit and drop down to 4 hours. If you are using just MP3 playback you will get about 15 hours useage. Nintendo is trying to do whatever they can to stop the Sony PSP from taking over but I think it may be a little too late.
