Sony has chosen NVidia to codevelop with Sony the GPU for the Next Generation so called PS3. The custom graphics processing unit will take the NVidia GeForce technology and merge it with SCEI's system. The combo of the upcoming and revolutionary new Cell processor, it should create images we have not imagined before in videogames. With Microsoft going with ATI and Sony going with NVidia we should have another top notch battle come 2006. Rumors are that Microsoft could release the what is being called at this point XBOX2 in 2005 but definitely Sony will not releasing the PS3 until 2006!!
