Alright if you haven't played Def Jam:Fight for NY, you need to. It is one of the best fighting games to date. Even if you never played Def Jam:Vendetta you will get right into this one and not be able to put down the controller. It sucks you in immediately. You don't even have to like rap/hiphop to enjoy this game. Although knowing about today's hottest rap and hip-hop superstars does help through your journey and it may make it more interesting. There are over 40 hip-hop artists in the game. Some of the fighters include Snoop Dogg, Method Man as Blaze, Ludacris, RedMan, Elephant Man, N.O.R.E plus many more. The only bad thing about this game is after you beat the game with your made man, you can't play through the game as one of the superstars. That would have added a lot more depth. Other than that the graphics are good, great soundtrack with many new songs from performers that are in the game. One more note, the game is not online which is a tad bit unfortunate.

| Again Rumple, I am with you on this. Sounds like we have a lot in common with gaming. Anyway I just finished the game and am about to go back in to play some more. Spoiler, once you finish the game it opens up new plays for you on the map that weren't available until the game is beaten. Then you can make an attempt to get the rest of the trophies. I earned almost every trophy except for with the new fights that are available. The game was a tad short, only took me 7 hrs to beat but i probably spent more time than that getting my character to look perfect. Almost every Def Jam star is in the game as well as others. I will have to say though Crow, who is played by Snoop Dogg was weak. I beat him quicker than I did in many other matches against others. So if you haven't played the game yet, DO IT!!! |

Def Jam: NY is phenominal. I hope they make a new Def Jam game for the XBOX 360!!
