Personally I love the game. It has gotten some bad reviews from sites like ign.com and gamespot.com but let me tell you, Asphalt Urban GT is a beauty to look at. Definitely rivaling Super Mario 64 DS for best graphics so far on the Nintendo DS. The reason behind the game getting such bad scores(ign.com gave it a 5.5 out of 10) which is mediocre, is due to bad presentation and bad gameplay. The touch screen was barely utilized and that the racing action is barely passable for racing. It has good drifting but the rest of the game feels unfinished. I personally think it is a good game to start the Nintendo DS system off with to show off its graphical capability. Ridge Racer which is coming out in a couple of weeks should be better and will definitely be worth picking up.
