Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within is almost here. Well tomorrow December 30th to be exact. I loved the first Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It was truly one of the better games that I have played before. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time did win Game of the Year from some gaming sites last year. I don't know if it was Game of the Year or not but it was definitely one of the best. It appears UbiSoft has taken the prince in a much darker direction sort of how Naughty Dog took Jak2 after the first Jak and Daxter. Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within has received good reviews so far. It received an 8.7 out of 10 from ign.com which is much less than Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time received. It received a 9.6 which is why it was touted for Game of the Year. The reasoning behind the game receiving an 8.7 was due to bad sound and UbiSoft taking the dark theme way to far. The game still looks phenominal and ign.com says it still plays phenominal, they just didn't do enough with the endless possibilities that they could have. I myself will still be down at EBGames picking this one up on Wednesday and so should you!!!
