I picked up the Nintendo DS on Sunday morning at my local Wal-Mart and let me tell you the system is awesome. When I got to Wal-Mart, they had a few systems left. I had the Nintendo DS reserved at EBGames but they had told me a few days before that they had got shorted in there delivery of DS units. After I picked up the unit, I went to EBGames and picked up all 6 games which included Super Mario 64 DS, The Urbz: Sims in the City, Madden 2005, Aspault Urban GT, Feel the Magic XX/XY, Spiderman 2 and the DS came with a demo of Metroid Prime: Hunters which is just phenominal. I am extremely satisfied with the DS. I am even more satisfied than I though I would be. The touchscreen is very cool and multiple games have so far taken advantage of it. The graphics on Mario are the best I have ever seen coming from a handheld. Some people have said that the launch for the Nintendo DS is a little weak but so far it appears that it is going to be a better launch than what the Sony PSP is going to offer. Now I just need to find a case to hold the system and the games. The sound is top notch as well & the screens are of very high quality but will not be as good as the PSP but that is ok. The games will be what makes the difference and you Nintendo loves their handhelds so they will take care of us.
