Enough said. Half Life 2 may very well be the best first person shooter of all time. Definitely rivaling Halo 2 for the best sequel to such a phenominal first entry of Half Life. The game has received a 9.7 from ign.com out of 10 and a 9.2 from gamespot.com out of 10. Pretty much as good as you can get. The graphics have even surpassed Doom 3 both technically and artistically. Other than the fact that Gordon never speaks the game is straight perfect. I will be picking up my copy hopefully tonight. I built my own PC right when Doom 3 came out that set me back about $3000 just for the box. I am running a 3.4 Pentium 4 800MHz bus Extreme, 1GB ram, 250GB Hard Drive, GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB Video Card, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum ZS. It plays Doom 3 outstandingly well and it should play Half Life 2 to it's full potential. I have read though that there are some bugs right off the bat which Valve is working hard to fix. So seriously if you have a PC there is no reason not to have this in your library!!!
