Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space will be out today Wednesday, November 17th but now I don't know that I am going to pick up the game. It was looking like Microsoft fixed many things that I thought were wrong with the first Blinx but maybe they haven't. I hate when I read multiple reviews of the game and both are totally different and then I never know if I should pick up the game. For example, ign.com gave it a 7.9 which usually means it warrants a purchase, but gamespot.com gave it a 6.3 which is not very good. Now I know that gamespot.com reviews there games tougher than ign.com but I mainly go with what ign.com says. Gamespot.com has given some low numbers on blockbuster games this month such as a 9.4 for Halo 2, a little low as far as I am concerned, an 8.7 for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are you kidding me and a 9.1 for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. They did give a 9.6 for GTA: San Andreas though which that is deserving but could be a bit higher.
Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space looks good graphically with great special effects. The biggest thing was they got rid of the 10 minute time limit per stage which pretty much ruined the first Blinx. So time will tell but I may give it a try. It is only $40 bucks too!!!
