Contra is coming into it's own since it has hit the Sony Playstation 2. I remember constantly playing the original Contra on the 8 bit Nintendo and using the code up,down,up,down,left,right,left,right,a,b,start. That would give you unlimited lives. The first Contra that came out for the PS2 was good but hard. The new Neo Contra looks just as hard. EGM gave it an 8,7,7 rating. It has some great action sequences and boss battles. From what I have read the game isn't very long though. You could probably beat it in a few hours. Definitely a rental but I am not sure I would spend $40 bones on that even though it is a great 2 player co-op game.
