The Urbz: Sims in the City I think is a pretty good game. I would classify myself is being more urban so this type of game suits my style. It probably isn't for everybody though but it is a refreshing change from the original Sims. The graphics have been upgraded and EA Games did a wonderful job in making you feel like you created your own unique Urbz. The game has been getting pretty good ratings from reviewers. EGM gave it a 7.5, 7 and 5. The reviewer who gave it a 5, gave it a 5 due to repetitiveness. Obviously a game like this should not be linear, but EA Games seemed to have made this more linear than other Sims games. You may want to give this one a rental first.

If you dont like the sims, dont turn this game away. This game has the best graphics out of any Sims game you can find. What makes it better to some people is that you dont just stay in that same house that you created all day long ( with the exeption of going to work and not even getting to see your workplace)! You have to go out and buy the furniture and you also go through this journey much like life itself, while unlocking new places to visit and live on the way. At the end, you are like the president of the U.S.A. with pictures and billboard commercials of you all over the place. You finally get to be the King of Kings in the Urbania while passing up your knowledgable friend Darius who is the King of Kings at the begining. You will have alot of fun while meeting strange characters, friends, enimies, and the #4 band of 2003-2005 voted by VH1, The Black Eyed Peas! I reccomend you to rent this game 1st to see if you like it but, I guarantee you will end up buying it one way or another. I myself, didnt think that I would like it and but tried it anyway ended up buying the Ps2 and GBA Versions both. Hope You Enjoy _________________ WAZZUP, Fellow Gamers and Gamettes? |

Definitely, I agree with you playhappy. If you are not a fan of the Sims, you should still give The Urbz: Sims in the City a whirl. Great graphics. I have the XBOX version and it is very nice. I have always been a Sims fan though so the game wasn't that big of stretch for me. I haven't had a chance to play the game to it's end but it sounds awesome. I am going to have to get back into the game now that I have some more insight into it. _________________ Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game |

You know I am not exactly sure where I am on my XBOX version of The Urbz: Sims in the City because I haven't played for so long. I just got into playing my Nintendo DS version a couple of weeks ago but I am not very far. Once I have some time to get back into it, I will let you know. I sent you an email to the email address you left when you registered on gamegophers.com. Let me know what you think. _________________ Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game |

Yah, The Urbz: Sims in the City is definitely a rental first because it is so much different than the Sims. Most likely is you are a Sims fan you will probably like the Urbz, but like the title, it may be too Urban for some. Personally I like the game because it is an Urban game and I am into the hip-hop music and what not so the game is pretty cool. The graphics on the XBOX version are awesome, way better than the original Sims on the XBOX. Yah, you better tell your local VideoGame rental place to get it!! _________________ Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game |
