Need for Speed Undergound 2 is coming out in a few days and it definitely looks like it will warrant a purchase. Ign.com gave it a 9.1 which puts in the category of excellent. EGM gave it an 8, 8, 9 which is a silver medal meaning it is a great game. EA Games took what they did last year and did everything better. This time around they made the game wide open so you could drive anywhere and take part in different things around the city. There is over 125 miles of open road to travel on which is huge. There are still 4 major events which include drift, drag, enter a URL which is short for Underground Racing League or you can just do a friendly circuit race. I did read that while the XBOX and GameCube graphics look sharper than the PS2's, the PS2 version has much cooler blur effects. I played the orginal Need for Speed Underground and it was awesome. I played it until I beat it. This is supposed to give at least 40 hours worth of gameplay so all I can say is pick this one up if your a fan of racing and that of import cars!!!
